Watkins won't enroll at Illinois this fall

CHAMPAIGN – Quinton Watkins, a highly regarded shooting guard from California, will not enroll at Illinois for academic reasons this fall.

Illinois coach Bruce Weber said today that "it is a complicated academic issue. Privacy laws won't let me get into it. We felt we had recruited a quality player later and we're very disappointed for him and his family.
