Champaign man dies in hit-and-run
CHAMPAIGN – Police are looking for a man for questioning in an accident that caused the death of a 76-year-old Champaign man.
Champaign County Coroner Duane Northrup said Thursday night that William "Bill" Higdon, 76, of the 200 block of West Eureka Street, Champaign, was pronounced dead at 12:33 p.m. Thursday at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.
