Solo Cup sells off Hoffmaster business
HIGHLAND PARK – Solo Cup Co. took another step to reduce its debt Monday, announcing it has agreed to sell its Hoffmaster business for $170 million.
Hoffmaster makes specialty napkins, place mats, table covers and other items for the restaurant and lodging industries. It employs about 1,160 people at Hoffmaster facilities in Oshkosh, Wis., and Appleton, Wis., and at a Creative Expressions facility in Indianapolis.
