Danville lawyer latest to announce candidacy

DANVILLE – A Danville attorney has entered the race to become Vermilion County's next top prosecutor.

On Tuesday, Derek J. Girton, a partner at Acton & Snyder LLP, announced he is running as a Democratic candidate for state's attorney's office in the 2008 election.
