United Way fundraisers making pleas in person for donations
DANVILLE – Co-chairmen Pat O'Shaughnessy and John Shane are optimistic about the 2007 United Way of Danville Area fundraising campaign.
Last week, volunteers picked up packets to distribute to various businesses, and the chairmen, along with executive directors from the 17 benefiting agencies, are visiting employees with the message of how donors' dollars help the community. They are also meeting with the CEOs of local corporations about corporate donations.
