Shelter holding yard sales of donations to earn extra cash

URBANA – Women escaping violent homes often arrive with just the clothes on their backs at A Woman's Place shelter in Urbana.

The agency keeps plenty of donated clothes and household goods on hand – dishes, towels, blankets and the like – to help them set up house somewhere safe.
