Durbin discusses FutureGen with Tuscola, Mattoon officials

ARCOLA –U.S. Senator Dick Durbin told area leaders that Tuscola and Mattoon both have all the ingredients to land the world's first near-zero emissions coal power plant.

Durbin, the co-chair of the FutureGen for Illinois Task Force, met with local officials in Arcola on Thursday afternoon in preparation for a visit to Illinois this week by leaders of the FutureGen Alliance.
