Republican joins race for Vermilion state's attorney
DANVILLE – A Vermilion County assistant state's attorney hopes to take over as top prosecutor when his boss steps down next year.
Randy Brinegar on Thursday announced he will run as a Republican candidate for state's attorney in the 2008 election.
