UI student leaders get lessons in fire safety
CHAMPAIGN – Cindy Curtis unhooked her helmet and oxygen mask and breathed fresh air after crawling into a burning "room" Saturday.
Curtis, a University of Illinois senior who lives in a Champaign apartment complex, was among a team of graphic design students participating in an annual campus fire program called "Fire Factor."
