Rantoul man charged with armed robbery
URBANA – A Rantoul man was charged Wednesday with armed robbery for stealing cash and marijuana from another Rantoul man earlier this summer.
Terrance Rogers, 18, who listed an address in the 1100 block of Eastview Drive, is scheduled to be back in Judge Tom Difanis' courtroom on Nov. 6 after having been charged with robbing a 28-year-old man on June 17. Rantoul police Sgt. Jeff Wooten said the man got in a car with Rogers and another man that day at the Heritage Estates Trailer Park. Once in the car, the other man, who has not yet been charged, drew a gun and robbed the victim of cash and marijuana.
