Douglas County voters will be asked to OK new sales tax
TUSCOLA – It could cost a little more to go shopping in Douglas County next year.
The Douglas County Board voted 7-0 Wednesday to approve a draft resolution putting a question on the Feb. 5, 2008, ballot asking county voters to approve a half-cent sales tax for public safety.
