Savoy to consider increase in sales tax rate
SAVOY – Next month, the Savoy board of trustees will consider taking the first step toward increasing the village's sales tax rate.
Savoy's Economic Development Commission discussed the tax increase for the first time Wednesday, and staff will now bring the issue before the village board at its Oct. 10 study session.
