Champaign man's autopsy set today
URBANA – An autopsy was planned for today to determine the cause of death for a 38-year-old Champaign man who died as a result of a crash into two trucks on Interstate 74 east of Urbana.
Champaign County Coroner Duane Northrup said Brent Newlin, 38, of the 2900 block of West John Street, Champaign, was pronounced dead at 12:39 p.m. Tuesday at the scene of the crash east of the University Avenue exit on I-74.
