Two arrested in Busey Bank robbery

RANTOUL – Two people were arrested Friday night in connection with a bank robbery that led to a police stakeout.

Nineteen-year-old Ahkeem Thomas of Harvey and 18-year-old Krystal Brown of Rantoul were arrested about 9 p.m. Friday at 406 Marco Drive in Rantoul, according to an FBI press release. They are expected to appear in federal court in Urbana on Monday.
