Urbana proposes maximum increase in property tax levy
URBANA – The city of Urbana is proposing a 12 percent maximum increase in its property tax levy for taxes payable in 2008.
The city council will consider a proposed $7.34 million levy when it meets at 7 p.m. Monday as the committee of the whole. The meeting will be at the Urbana City Building, 400 S. Vine St.
