Suspicious Loda fires prompt arson investigation
LODA – The state fire marshal's office has joined an investigation into a rash of suspected arson fires around Loda, according to the chief of the Loda Fire Protection District.
Chief David Pruitt said he contacted the fire marshal's office after local firefighters responded to their sixth suspicious fire within a six-day span Friday night, finding a garage on a vacant property in Loda ablaze.
