Override of veto on truck speed limit stalls

SPRINGFIELD – An attempt to increase the speed limit for large trucks hit a roadblock on Wednesday.

"I appreciate that the truckers would like to save time and money, but our job is to save lives," said state Rep. Barbara Flynn Currie, D-Chicago, who opposed the change.
