Man convicted of child porn given 50 years
URBANA – An Urbana man convicted of child pornography and weapons-related offenses was sentenced Monday to 50 years in prison.
"When individuals victimize our children, they do a tremendous disservice. They harm our society," Champaign County Judge Tom Difanis said in imposing the sentence on John Haywood, 46, who last lived in the 4300 block of East Airport Road, Urbana.
