Atwood officials hear wind power presentation
ATWOOD – The Atwood Village Board is interested in using the high wind that blows through and around the town to produce its own electricity – and possibly selling it to neighboring communities.
Board members recently invited Roger Brown of the Institute of Rural Affairs at Western Illinois University to talk to them about the possibilities.
