Former UI coach, NBA star launch Cunningham fundraiser

URBANA – A campaign to build a new educational complex at Cunningham Children's Home got a major boost Thursday night.

Officials announced $300,000 in pledges at a "Tip-Off" reception with former Illini basketball Coach Lou Henson and former Illini and NBA star Kendall Gill, who are leading the "Coach's Campaign" for Cunningham.
