Two charged with soliciting underage girl

CHAMPAIGN – A registered sex offender from Champaign and a Chicago man are accused of trying to get a 16-year-old girl to have sex with them.

Arraigned Friday on Class 3 felony charges of indecent solicitation of a child were Robert Spears, 23, who listed an address in the 800 block of Briar Lane, Champaign, and Leamon Smith, 24, who listed a Chicago address.
