Danville man dies in head-on collision

ROYAL – A Danville man was killed in a head-on crash near Royal Friday morning.

Joel M. Roberts, 30, of Denmark Road, Danville, was pronounced dead at 7:48 a.m. Friday at the scene of the crash west of Royal at Champaign County 2150 N and 2500 E, according to Champaign County Coroner Duane Northrup.
