Woman's lost wallet results in big charges
CHAMPAIGN – University of Illinois police are investigating a case of credit card fraud that involves nearly $6,000 in unauthorized transactions on an Urbana woman's credit and debit cards.
The woman, a UI student, reported Tuesday that someone had used her cards for transactions totaling $5,877 after her wallet was lost or stolen while she was riding a bus.
