Police see results in speed enforcement

CHAMPAIGN – A crackdown on speeders in Champaign is apparently making a difference on some streets.

Sgt. Dave Griffet, coordinator of a Champaign Police Department project on speeding enforcement, said a check of four targeted enforcement zones showed reductions in speeding violations in all four.
