Property worth about $6,000 stolen in two thefts
University of Illinois police are investigating two separate cases in which property worth about $3,000 each was stolen on campus.
A female student reported a backpack, laptop computer, iPod, digital camera and voice recorder were stolen after she left them outside her locker at the Harding Band Building, 1103 S. Sixth St. on Saturday. Total value was listed at $2,820.
