Former Renaissance Danville director's lawsuit postponed
DANVILLE – It will be at least another month before a small-claims dispute between Bob Yapp, former executive director of Renaissance Danville, and the nonprofit organization's board is settled.
Yapp, representing himself, and Renaissance officials, represented by attorney Bruce Meachum, were set to argue their cases Wednesday in Vermilion County Circuit Court. But Associate Judge James Borbely continued the proceedings because of a potential conflict of interest.
