Ameren asks for another rate hike

SPRINGFIELD – Ameren asked the Illinois Commerce Commission late this afternoon to increase its power delivery charges by nearly a quarter of a billion dollars, less than a year after the company's last rate hike.

"It's not good, but it's reality," said Ron Pate, Ameren's vice president of regional operations.
