Firefighter's garage latest target in suspicious blazes
LODA – A garage in Loda was set on fire Friday night, marking the 11th suspicious blaze reported around the village in a little over a month, including the second set at a firefighter's property.
Loda Fire Chief Dave Pruitt said the fire at 110 N. Elm St. appeared "very suspicious." It was the fourth suspected arson fire to occur within a two-block span of Elm Street since the fires began Sept. 30.
