Committee's plans for rental registrations complete
DANVILLE – A city advisory committee finalized its recommendations Tuesday night for a new rental-registration program that includes stiffer penalties for landlords who fail to register their property or comply with city codes.
Mayor Scott Eisenhauer appointed the committee to make recommendations for a new rental-registration program, as part of a housing plan to increase rental-registration compliance and reduce blight.
