Police issue more tickets in 2007

Bar checks by police in Champaign resulted in more tickets for underage drinking this year.

Data compiled by the Champaign Police Department show there were about the same number of police details – 66 for Jan. 1 through Oct. 27 this year, compared to 63 for the same period last year.
