Vermilion budget passes; property tax levy unchanged
DANVILLE – With hardly any discussion, the Vermilion County Board on Tuesday night passed a property tax levy and budget for next year.
The lone comment on the actions, which affect the fiscal year starting Dec. 1, came from county board member Bill Grubb, R-District 3, who said he would have liked a "more conservative budget."
