Paxton feeling loss created by theater fire
PAXTON – The state fire marshal today will start combing through the wreckage of the Majestic Theatre to find out what ignited the fire that leveled it.
"We were up there until 10:30 last night when it was still smoldering, keeping an eye on it to make sure it didn't spread," Mayor Bill Ingold said this morning. "We won't do anything until the fire marshal and the owner, Albert Sutton, look it over. We have no clue what will happen to it; that's up to Sutton."
