Rantoul woman arrested at courthouse with gun
URBANA – A Rantoul woman was arrested Tuesday for bringing a loaded handgun into the Champaign County Courthouse in Urbana.
Sheriff Dan Walsh said deputies arrested Vanessa C. Tyler, 47, who listed an address in the 1100 block of Illinois Drive, Rantoul, for unlawful use of weapons, a Class 2 felony carrying potential penalties ranging from probation to three to seven years in prison.
