No foul play suspected in Paxton theater fire
PAXTON – The cause of the fire that destroyed the historic Paxton Majestic Theatre remains undetermined, but investigators said it does not appear suspicious.
Investigators with the state fire marshal's office said Wednesday that the cause of Tuesday's blaze appears to be electrical. The fire marshal's office indicated the fire may have started between the first and second floors, but the investigation continues.
