State police plan highway patrols every 10 miles
Illinois State Police will be out in force when holiday travelers hit the highways Wednesday.
A release from Gov. Rod Blagojevich's office said police will employ a "zero-tolerance" policy for drivers who don't wear seat belts. The Click It or Ticket campaign will run in conjunction with the Thanksgiving Combined Accident Reduction Ef-fort, which runs until Dec. 2.
