McGinty stays on primary ballot
URBANA – Champaign County Board member Brendan McGinty will have his name on the Feb. 5 primary ballot. The county's electoral board voted 2-1 Friday not to throw out his petitions.
The issue was whether the pages were in consecutive order, and each side had a strong opinion. An objection had been filed by Richard Reynolds, of Urbana, who was represented by Ruth Wyman, a Champaign attorney.
