Fans brave cold for shot at warm California sun
CHAMPAIGN – The announcement came around 7:15 p.m. Adam Pankowski didn't hear it. The University of Illinois junior had already been in line at the Assembly Hall for nearly two hours to get Rose Bowl tickets.
Within hours, dozens of tents and more than a hundred students were braving the chill to make sure they'd be there when the ticket office started selling at 9 this morning.
