Danville council special meeting to consider purchases

DANVILLE – The city council's public works department will have a special meeting Tuesday to consider buying two pieces of property.

The committee will consider paying $15,000 for 216 W. North St. and 603 N. Bowman Ave. for demolition and "possible redevelopment," according to the ordinance.
