Monticello looks to better collect on water bills
MONTICELLO – Deadbeat water customers beware, the Monticello City Council is pondering ways to more efficiently police overdue water bills.
At Monday's study session, Superintendent of City Services Floyd Allsop asked the council to consider a resolution, the details of which remain to be worked out, empowering city staff to more effectively deal with customers regularly cited for being behind on their water bills.
