Danville United Way officials show optimism about goal
DANVILLE – The 2007 United Way of Danville Area campaign was about 30 percent short of its goal as the official campaign ended Nov. 29. But officials are optimistic the final number will be much closer to the goal than that.
"More than $625,000 of the $875,000 goal has been received or pledged, with some of the campaign's normally largest contributors information still out," said Pat O'Shaughnessy, who co-chaired this campaign with John Shane.
