Transit grant application up for vote
DANVILLE – Julie Brandenburg may get to pay 75 cents for a three-mile ride to work instead of $11.75 in cab fare if Danville Mass Transit receives federal funding to extend bus service to Lynch Road.
The city council's public works committee will consider approval of the transit service's application for $678,000 in federal and state grants Tuesday night.
