Ice knocks out power, delays flights
CHAMPAIGN – Several stores were forced to close their doors for a few hours on Sunday after freezing rain caused a power outage on Champaign's north side.
About 3,500 customers were without power beginning around 11 a.m., according to Ameren spokesman Neal Johnson.
