Westville to reimburse property owner for street work
WESTVILLE – Village officials reached a tentative agreement Tuesday with a property owner about street maintenance.
The Westville Village Board voted to reimburse Carl Ghibaudy about $2,750 for tar and chip work he had done to Church Street in August, to officially accept Church Street as a village street from Kelly Street to its south end, and to maintain and remove snow from the street. Mayor Jeff Slavik said those things would take place after Ghibaudy signs a document that the village attorney will prepare outlining the agreement and recording an easement.
