Bradley Avenue project in hands of Mother Nature
CHAMPAIGN – Bradley Avenue in west Champaign could reopen to four lanes of traffic within a week or two, if the weather would cooperate and stay dry.
A $3.6 million reconstruction of Bradley between Mattis Avenue and Pomona Drive, just east of Duncan Road, is nearly finished, according to Assistant City Engineer Dave Clark. All that remains to be done is to apply a protective seal coat to the two south lanes that are now closed and then to stripe the lanes, he said.
