No one injured in rural Mahomet house fire
MAHOMET – Two members of a rural Mahomet family escaped a fire that heavily damaged their home Friday morning.
Lee Jessup of the Cornbelt Fire Protection District said Scott Hays was home with his 10-year-old daughter at 564 County Road 2400 N about 8 a.m. when they smelled smoke.
