Christmas trees to be given away
The University of Illinois is giving away about 15 decorated Christmas trees that once adorned its Ice Arena.
David Bagger, assistant director at the UI Ice Arena, said the trees, used to decorate the arena but no longer needed now that the semester has ended, will be placed outside from about 10 a.m. to noon Monday. He said the trees will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
