Jury finds man guilty of robbing UI student
URBANA – A Champaign man who robbed a University of Illinois student at gunpoint last spring faces 21 to 45 years in prison when sentenced next month.
A Champaign County jury deliberated about six hours Friday before convicting Craig Blanton, 27, who listed an address in the 400 block of West Maple Street, of armed robbery and aggravated robbery.
