Wolfram has big designs for future
Apple – now known as much, maybe more, for iPods and iPhones – dropped "computer" from its name this year, though the company still makes computers and its own operating system.
Stephen Wolfram doesn't say the day is coming when the name of Champaign-based Wolfram Research isn't followed by "Makers of Mathematica," its flagship product.
