Student team revved over their invention

CHAMPAIGN – Team One named its new snack bar Rev, to connect the treat to the team's target audience.

It's a name that works on different levels, said the Parkland College students, who designed and made the snack bar for exercising men and women who need to load carbs for energy. They made the bar, and with graphic design students, helped develop an advertising campaign to promote it to complete Toni Burkhalter's honors nutrition class.
