Man injured in morning shooting
CHAMPAIGN – A man was taken to a hospital for a gunshot wound this morning in northwest Champaign.
Police were called to the 900 block of North Country Fair Drive at 8:44 a.m. today on a report of shots fired, according to Champaign police Lt. Joe Gallo. It was the second shooting in 18 hours in the city.
